SIMON STILES;

Age: Thirties? Nickname: Sim Position: One of the "Big Three" comedians on Studio 60. Education: Graduated from the Yale School of Drama. On Studio 60: Began working on Studio 60 in 2001 after having lost a big movie role to Jamie Foxx. He was initially resentful and felt that, as a graduate of Yale, he didn't belong at Studio 60, but has since developed a strong loyalty to the show and his fellow cast members. He feels limited by his comedic skills, conscious of the fact that he isn't able to do the humourous "voices" Ricky and Ron have been pushing for.

Personal History: Simon grew up in South Central Los Angeles amid poverty and gang violence. When he was fifteen, he witnessed the shooting of a friend up close. Many of his childhood friends are currently serving life sentences for a retaliatory murder; Simon would have been among them had the other gang members not forced him to stay behind. As a result, Simon feels a sense of responsibility towards people from similar backgrounds and does what he can to help those who grew up in the same area as him. He currently lives up in the hills near the Hollywood sign.
