Professional History: She previously worked for two years in Business Affairs at Atlantic Records, two as Vice President in charge of production at United Artists and four at NBC. When she joined NBS as network president, she decided she would approach the job as if she had one year to live. Criminal Record: DUI - While driving home from a party in 1998, Jordan got lost and pulled over to ask directions from a policeman, who gave her a breathalyser which found she was over the legal limit. After completing an alcohol diversion program, the charge was dismissed. Personal History: When Jordan was 25, she was married to a man named Ryan Mulrooney for nine months. She used to pay him alimony; now he's found a new source of income in the shape of a book: Confessions of a Network Husband: My Life With Jordan McDeere. During their brief marriage, Mulrooney convinced Jordan to go with him to sex clubs. He also recounts Jordan as having told that she did not like children, would never have children and would never hire any woman with children; Jordan refutes this, explaining that what she had actually said was that she would never have children with Mulrooney. Pregnancy: Prior to the pilot, Jordan had a one-night stand with an ex-boyfriend - the same one who gave her the confidential information about Danny's failed drug test.
